CSMC is a community organisation run by and for single mothers. They are one of the few organisations that work relentlessly to support and empower single mothers to fight for changes to systems, services and community attitudes since 1969.
In less than 55 years of operation, CSMC has attained exceptional achievements for the community of single mothers, including campaigning for the Federal government to provide equal welfare payments for single mothers and remove the legal disabilities of children born out of marriage. They also recently won a campaign to the Parliament to help single parents receive extra payments until their youngest child turns 14.
As big an impact CSMC has made on our society, it comes as a surprise that the CSMC team is operated by a small team of dedicated staff besides being supported by a network of passionate volunteers. To ensure that their small team continues having a great impact, CSMC often runs multiple fundraising campaigns at a time, making it crucial that they can track all those campaigns at one time.
In late 2021, CSMC sought the help of a reputed Salesforce for nonprofits partner, Girikon, as their Campaign Monitor was not synchronising with Salesforce. Besides, their existing web form for membership has caused numerous pain points, making it impossible for them to see how many unique constituents have contacted the client in the last financial year.
Girikon approached CSMC’s challenges with patience and care. The Salesforce partner devoted a great amount of time to understanding the charity’s business processes. After several discovery workshops and brainstorming sessions, Girikon’s business analysts were able to propose a solution and an implementation timeline that were suitable for the organisation.

Being our first time hearing of Salesforce, Yiannis and Mokshith really helped us get our head around what it is and what it's capable of doing. We came to them with many problems we needed solved for our Advocacy Service, and we were able to get an outcome that works great for our needs.
